Round, rugged, and somehow gentle — the moment I saw it, it reminded me of a stone that had spent a long time on the ocean floor.
A quiet moss-green glaze spreads across the upper half, with soft white crystalline blooms drifting across its surface. The lower half stays raw — textured clay, just as it was before the kiln. That contrast feels like time itself, layered and still.
Place a single stem inside. That's all it needs. This vessel was already complete before anything was added to it.

Stoneware clay with traditional Okinawan glaze on the upper half; the lower half is left unglazed to show the natural clay surface. White crystalline patterns formed naturally during firing. Made with lead-free glaze as confirmed by the artisan.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind. Slight variations in color, texture, and size are a natural part of the handmaking process — and part of its charm.

For decorative use. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. If used with water for fresh flowers, empty and dry thoroughly after use. The unglazed lower section may absorb moisture — place on a coaster or saucer to protect surfaces. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
