The moment I held this dripper in my hands, the dawn sky over Okinawa came to me.

A deep rust-iron base, washed with drifting clouds of blue-gray glaze — like the moment just before sunrise, when the sky still belongs to the night. No two pieces are ever the same. The flame decides the rest.

Every morning in San Francisco, I pour slowly through this dripper, and for a few quiet minutes, I'm home again. The warmth of the water, the scent of the coffee, and the weight of this clay in my hands — it's a small ritual that carries me back to the island where I was born.

The body sits on an integrated saucer with three small holes at the bottom, sized just right for one or two cups. Stoneware, hand-thrown, with the kind of grounded weight that tells you it was made by someone who knew exactly what they wanted you to feel.

Stoneware clay with lead-free glaze. The body shows a deep rust-iron base color washed with drifting clouds of blue-gray glaze. Includes an integrated saucer/stand with three drainage holes at the bottom. Lead- and cadmium-free as confirmed by the artisan.

Hand wash only. Not microwave safe. Not dishwasher safe. Not induction cooktop compatible. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Rinse with warm water before first use.
