① Product Description

Chūkā. That's what we call a teapot in Okinawan. I heard that word every time my grandmother made tea when I was little. And the first time I held this one, what came to me was the image of old stone in the rain.

Round and grounded, with a weight that settles quietly into both hands. The glaze moves slowly across the surface, like water finding its way down weathered rock. Gray melting into teal, teal fading back into gray. No clear line between them.

The lid has a different kind of presence. The green there is brighter, more alive — like moss after the rain. When I reached for the knob, I almost didn't want to lift it.

The arched handle invites you to hold it with both hands. This isn't a teapot for rushed mornings. It's the one you reach for when you actually mean to make tea.

Something about this piece slows me down — just a little, but enough. Why not let your next cup of tea be one that asks you to slow down too?
